Biography
Zinal is a PhD student in the UC Berkeley-UCSF joint program in Bioengineering, co-advised by Dr. Adam Abate. She is focused on engineering droplet microfluidic systems that can uncover the intercellular mechanisms driving pathogenesis of various pediatric liver diseases. When she is not catching up on sleep, she loves mountain biking, hiking, and exploring the city!
